Before you call
Questions people ask first
How quickly can you get to me?
Most call-outs across the Waterside, Hythe, Holbury, Fawley, Dibden and Marchwood are reached within 30 minutes, with Totton, Southampton and out toward the New Forest a little longer. Ring and you’ll get an honest arrival time, not the “just round the corner” line.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, never. You only pay for the work done, quoted in full on the phone first. If the door cannot be opened without damage and you decide not to go ahead, you don’t pay a penny.
Are you available 24 hours, genuinely?
Yes. Bugsy answers his own mobile day and night, weekends and bank holidays included, with a loud alarm so a 3am lock-out reaches a real locksmith and not an answerphone.
Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes to both. Keywise is fully insured and DBS checked, and every part fitted is guaranteed for 12 months. Bugsy was the 2024 PCC Community Volunteer of the Year, so the reputation matters to him.
Do you do non-destructive entry, or just drill the lock?
Non-destructive entry comes first, every time. Most UK door locks can be picked open so you keep your lock and your money. Drilling is a last resort, not the opening move, which is the opposite of how the “we’ll just drill it” firms work.

The whole Waterside and Southampton: Hythe, Holbury, Fawley, Blackfield, Dibden, Marchwood, Totton, plus Eastleigh, Romsey, Lymington and across the New Forest and wider Hampshire.
